+ Welcome to our practice - we are a contemporary medical practice where our goal is to be "patient-centric" - which simply means that our efforts and technology are aimed at providing the best patient care and experience possible. We apply the best technology to the benefit of our patients. For example, we've added the best in electronic medical records backed up by a state of the art computer network. We've also added digital radiology which provides clear, crisp films that can easily be transmitted to Radiology for in depth readings. We've added a patient portal which does many things, including giving our primary care patients access to their records via a secured network link into our EMR. From there,patients can make/break appointments, view all of their records and medications, order medications, communicate with anyone within the practice, fill out past history records before your appointment. As for patient information, we subscribe to and provide a link on our home page to "UpToDate". This site is arguably the best of it's kind. It has served Internal medicine and all subspecialties for many years, and now has developed a patient information portion. The advantage is that the information is all evidence based. In other words, each section is written by the expert in a given field, is based on the most current research and is fully referenced. This gives you assurance that the information provided is accurate, and the best available.
